Rockworld logo
At Rocket Companies, “Rockworld” is go-to internal platform for information. The site houses news articles, links to important resources and other valuable information for team members.
The old logo utilized an icon and typeface that were not consistent with the Rocket brand. For the new logo,
I used Rocket Sans (the proprietary typeface for Rocket Companies) and integrated geometric shapes that created a letter “O.” Together, these shapes represent several components in one unified platform.
Sketch, think, repeat
When it comes to the concepting phase of a project, I like getting started with pen and (grid) paper first.
I worked out several ideas for how to visually convey togetherness and unity in a clear and concise way. I played with geometric shapes that were derived from Rocket branded patterns, playful typography and simple visual metaphors.
